On our final day at Disney World, we had to end things at the Magic Kingdom and meet he man/mouse himself, Mickey! I didn’t actually know what to expect with the meet and greet, but I totally loved the experience. The queue was extremely fun and had tons of neat knick knacks to look at while waiting.
Getting to meet Mickey was also fun, because he does talk here. He was extremely charming and gave both of us big hugs. The picture wasn’t great, but the experience was fun, and I would definitely recommend it…even if you don’t have kids.
The next stop was the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. This ride is cuter rather than thrilling. I don’t know if it is really a favorite, but the line is super cute and the theming is on point.
Then from one mine train to another…
After a few more rides, we headed over to get these amazing-looking waffle fries we had seen a few days ago. Unfortunately, these delicious waffle fries were not to be. It turned out that the little cart that sells them is only open on the busier times and on weekends…
Luckily for us, we got the chance to eat at Skipper Canteen instead, which was the best decision ever! Before that though, we headed to Tom Sawyer Island to explore.
Then to Skipper Canteen… To find out all of my thoughts about this check out my previous review post: Skipper Canteen Review. Suffice it to say that it was wonderful, and I would recommend eating here, even if it is the only meal you have at the Magic Kingdom.
To top off our lunch at Skipper Canteen, our last ride was the Jungle Cruise, or should I say Jingle Cruise.
On our way out, we ended the day at Magic Kingdom by watching the Castle Show. I know that it is corny, but I love this show. The dance moves are so delightfully ridiculous and twirly. Since they are changing the show, I am doubly glad to have gotten to see it one last time.
After the show, we headed back to the hotel to check out and got on a long flight home. It is always sooooooooooOOOOOOOoooooo hard leaving, but I always know we will go back…in fact, we will be headed to Disneyland pretty soon!
